With over two decades of entrepreneurial experience across various sectors including Real Estate, commercial and residential construction, real estate development, and design, Katherine Burnett epitomizes the spirit of innovation and pioneering. Her trailblazing endeavors have garnered her multiple industry accolades. Katherine is a dynamic visionary, serving as the Director of Partners and the Director of Global Marketplace Leaders at Global Awakening, where she channels her deep passion for Jesus Christ into catalyzing spiritual transformations worldwide. Driven by a fervent desire to guide others into an intimate encounter with the heart of the Father, Katherine utilizes her prophetic and teaching giftings to identify and nurture emerging ministry leaders, while also fostering a supportive environment for aspiring marketplace influencers.
Dr. Jeff Burnett
Global Marketplace Leaders Team
Dr. Jeff Burnett is aiding in the coordination of Global Marketplace Leaders at Global Awakening using his business experience from being co-owner and Vice-President of a construction and land development company. Originally from Texas, he earned an Ed.D. in Higher Education with an emphasis in Curriculum Instructional Design from Texas A&M-Commerce. Dr. Burnett has been involved in Higher Education for more than 25 years serving as a full-time professor and an adjunct professor while maintaining several key roles representing the faculty at the state levels. While in Higher Education, he earned many teaching and research awards including the national winner for advising from NACADA. Dr. Burnett has also led several young adult and men’s ministries at the collegiate and local level. He has been married to Katherine Burnett for over 20 years and they have three lovely children of all ages.
Lindsey Morales
Global Marketplace Leaders Team
Lindsey works on the Global Marketplace Leaders team. She comes to us from Gateway Church where she worked in the business leaders ministry. Before moving into ministry, Lindsey worked in management for FedEx Office and in sales & marketing for the HVAC and Plumbing industry. As a young mom, she worked in church administration, website management, and as a fitness instructor. Lindsey was born and raised in Michigan where she attended Hope College and studied Religion & Sociology and she now resides in Denton, TX with her husband, Leo, and two children.
Ilse Bowlen
Global Marketplace Leaders Team
Ilse Bowlen has experience in the marketplace working for a variety of companies including a global consulting firm and a Fortune 100 company in the areas of Finance, Business Analysis and Project Management. In 2021, in a sequence of God-led events, Ilse joined Global Awakening where she has been serving as part of the Global Awakening team. She is in the process of completing her Global Supernatural Discipleship certificate, and is passionate about exploring ways to live out God’s heart for the marketplace.
Leo Morales
Business Owner, COO
Leo went to Hope College in Holland, MI where he completed his degree in Business Management and Marketing. Over the last 20 years, Leo has worked in multiple industries including retail, wholesale, manufacturing, import/export, business coaching, training/speaking, and is now a business owner for a HVAC and Plumbing company. Leo was born and raised in Costa Rica where he began translating for missions trips at 12 years old. At 18 he moved to the United States to work with a ministry where he learned to be a sound technician as well as learning video and photo editing. He is highly involved in the local business community of Denton, TX where he lives with his wife, Lindsey, and two children.
LaVonne Jenkins
Cost/Pricing Analyst
LaVonne Jenkins has been a Federal Government employee for over 20 years. She is currently a Contracting Officer for the Federal Government, where she helps to manage funding as well as terms and conditions for several large technology contracts. Before becoming a contracting officer, she also served the government as a contracting officer representative (COR), whose friendly yet professional team-oriented demeanor was the catalyst for resolving vendor performance issues in a timely manner. Earlier in Lavonne’s career she was both a contract auditor as well as a contract cost price analyst, during this time she was an effective report writing guest instructor and received numerous awards for integrity, community service and excellence. LaVonne is a native of Baltimore, MD. She received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Hampton University, a Master of Arts in Management from Notre Dame of Maryland University and plans to commence the Business Management Doctoral Program at Marymount University this Fall.
